The Next Contestant is a reality television casting company connecting real people with original reality TV, competition, dating, lifestyle, and unscripted entertainment opportunities. We work to make the casting process clear, accessible, and free for applicants while searching for memorable personalities and authentic stories.
The Next Contestant is operated by The Next Contestant LLC, a California limited liability company.
We're Casting Personalities, Not Profiles
Real Personality
We're interested in who you actually are when the cameras aren't around. You don't need to create a character for us — your real self is exactly what we're looking for.
Real Stories
Where you come from, what you've experienced, and how you see the world can be far more interesting than a perfect résumé. Your story matters.
Real Reactions
Reality television works because real people react differently when challenged, surprised, or pushed outside their comfort zone. Authenticity is irreplaceable.
Real Connections
Friendships, rivalries, humor, and unexpected relationships are what make people keep watching. Chemistry can't be manufactured or coached.

What We Do
We develop and cast for original reality and unscripted concepts across a range of formats. Casting opportunities vary by production, with select projects filming in Los Angeles. Applicants can explore current opportunities, review eligibility requirements, and apply directly through official The Next Contestant casting links.
Applications through The Next Contestant are free. Applicants selected to move forward may be contacted for interviews, additional information, or other casting steps.
What Happens After You Apply
01 — Apply
Tell us about yourself. We're more interested in your personality and story than how professionally you fill out an application.
02 — Casting Review
Our casting team reviews applications looking for interesting personalities who could bring something unique to the project.
03 — Casting Interview
Selected applicants may be invited to a virtual casting interview — a chance for us to meet the real person behind the application.
04 — Finalist Screening
Advancing applicants may complete additional interviews, eligibility verification, or background screening requirements.
05 — Final Selection
Final contestants are selected based on the needs of each individual production.
We're Not Looking for Influencers. We're Looking for You.
You might be a student, a bartender, a nurse, a mechanic, a business owner, a gamer, a teacher, or a parent. Someone whose job title doesn't begin to explain who they are.
If you're competitive, funny, outspoken, strategic, unpredictable, charismatic, or simply impossible to forget — reality TV doesn't need another perfect profile. It needs real people.
